In my free time, or when invited, I direct short films and experimental projects.
Solo was filmed in Peru in 2019, during a research trip for a documentary project. The material ultimately evolved into a mood film inspired by themes of letting go and solitude. On an allegorical level, the film also reflects on the struggles of the Peruvian people, touching on the historical and ongoing tension between indigenous cultures and colonial forces.
The Little Prince is an experimental film focusing on movement and rhythm. I directed the film independently, while the choreography was developed in close collaboration with a Hungarian movement theatre director. This project marked my first experience at the intersection of theatre and cinema, a meeting point I deeply fell in love with and continue to explore.
I also directed a campaign video for Ildikó Enyedi’s film Silent Friend, centered around a special screening for one of the film’s most unique cast members — a nearly 200-year-old ginkgo tree. The video explores why the director chose this remarkable tree, how she discovered it, and what inspired her to build a film around its presence.
Finally, I directed Deva’s portrait film for the Music Moves Europe international competition. The film became part of a broader collaborative effort to support each other at the beginning of our careers, and Deva ultimately won the award thanks to her exceptional performative talent.
