Andrea Bertók

Deva is a Hungarian singer-songwriter whose music draws deeply from nature, introspection, and emotional presence, blending electronic soundscapes with folk-inspired elements. Her work explores themes of connection, landscape, and inner experience in a way that feels both intimate and expansive. She emerged on the Hungarian music scene with self-produced releases and quickly gained critical acclaim, winning the prestigious Music Moves Europe Award at the Eurosonic Festival, an EU-backed recognition for emerging European artists that highlights her distinct voice and creative presence beyond Hungary.

I directed her first and second music videos, as well as her MME portrait film, and her artistic world resonates strongly with me — both thematically and emotionally — as it closely aligns with my own sensitivity to nature, embodiment, and attentive presence.
